ISLAMABAD, Jul 13 (APP):Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Saturday paid tribute to the martyrs of Kashmir, honoring their sacrifices and struggle against the Indian occupied forces.
In a message on “Kashmir Martyrs’ Day,” he said that the martyrs of July 13, 1931, laid the foundation for today217;s freedom movement.
He said that generations of Kashmiris have been making sacrifices and struggling against the Kashmiri Hindutva government217;s conspiracy to destroy their identity.
Gilani condemned unlawful and tyrannical occupation of Indian forces on Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He reiterated Pakistan217;s unwavering support for the right of self-determination of Kashmiris, affirming Pakistan217;s commitment to supporting the freedom movement until the liberation of occupied Kashmir.
He expressed confidence that the day to end India217;s illegal occupation is not far off.
