RAWALPINDI, Jul 27 (APP):Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid on Saturday met with Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider in Murree and gave a detailed briefing about BISP.
The vision of the leadership of Pakistan People’s Party is the welfare of the people and providing them with basic facilities, the governor said adding, millions of deserving families are benefiting from BISP.
Benazir Income Support Programme is best way to provide financial assistance to the people living below poverty line, he added.
The scope of BISP should further be expanded so that more deserving families could benefit from the programme, Sardar Saleem Haider said.
