ISLAMABAD, Oct 25 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday issued written order regarding hearing on petition of PML-N’s leader Nawaz Sharif for revival of his appeals in graft references.
The order was issued by the division bench comprising Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb.
It said that the court had sought arguments from respondents on maintainability of the petition seeking restoration of appeals.
It said that the former prime minister had surrendered before the court in line of the order dated October 19, adding that the court was serving notices to NAB on his two petitions.
It said that the NAB had sought time to take instructions in this case from the authority.
The order said that the NAB prosecutor had stated that they had no objection on protective bail of the petitioner. After this, the court was extending the protective bail of Nawaz Sharif till October 26.
It instructed the petitioner’s counsel to satisfy the bench on next hearing regarding the admissibility of the petitions.
