IRSA releases 199,400 cusecs water


ISLAMABAD, Sep 25 (APP):Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Monday released 199,400 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 148,900 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, water level in River Indus at Tarbela Dam was 1546.63 feet and was 148.63 feet higher than its dead level of 1,398 feet.
Water inflow and outflow in the dam was recorded as 88,800 cusecs and 110,000 cusecs respectively.
 The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla Dam was 1230.10 feet, which was 180.10 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. The inflow and outflow of water was recorded 8,700 cusecs and 38,000 cusecs respectively.
 The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa , Guddu and Sukkur was recorded as 95,200, 117,500, 99,100 and 44,900 cusecs respectively. Similarly, from River Kabul, a total of 20,700 cusecs of water released at Nowshera and 4,000 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
