ISLAMABAD, Feb 9 (APP): Syed Riffat Mehmood, an independent candidate has won the election for Punjab Assembly constituency PP-24 Jhelum-I by securing 55029 votes.
According to the unofficial result issued by the Returning Officer/ECP, the runner-up was Raja Yawar Kamal of the Istehkam e Pakistan party who bagged 49718 votes.
Voters’ turnout remained 46.64 percent.
